Well, there's a resounding argument. Attack the people who disagree with you and demean them by comparing them to 8-year-old children on a playground.
This atheist's response to you, "I don't know if you're wrong. I don't think you're stupid. I just don't think you are able to provide the proof of existence of a God. You make the choice to believe in that God. I make a choice not to believe in something for which there is no proof or evidence. I respect you. I would appreciate it if you respected me."
If the spirit of God was removed completely from this earth , you may then know the existence of God.
I don't know. Do you? KNOW. For sure. With COMPLETE certainty. Or do you just BELIEVE. With COMPLETE certainty. I don't need to KNOW these things. I'm fine with uncertainty.
Actually, making atheism illegal in this country would be a dream of mine. There'd be no faster way to increase the ranks of us atheists than banning us outright.
All of these atheists that sit on the fence by pretending to be mere 'agnostics' or some other euphemism for being non committal, would finally jump on the atheist train in defiance.
So please...ban atheism. Nothing would make me happier.

Well God has provided the proof, and the evidence of his existence, which is all around you, the creation itself.
But your free to acknowledge or deny that evidence, because he gave man free will.

I'm free to doubt that God has provided anything, or that nature had an intelligent creator. And I'm free to ask questions, and I'm free to accept that often there are no answers for my questions. I'm comfortable with that.
I'm not comfortable with being discriminated against because I accept that often there aren't any answers. And that is what this thread is about. Hence, the "BAN atheists/atheism in the United States". That's discrimination.
You believe what you CHOOSE to believe. I'll believe what I CHOOSE to believe. Sometimes we can exchange ideas and thoughts on those choices. But please don't discriminate against those who don't share your beliefs.
