right - and if there was no Israel, there would be no Islamic terror either.
I also have some beachfront property for sale in Oklahoma.
There really wouldn't be. Terrorist organizations are reactionary groups formed in the face of oppression. Support Israel and support dictators/tyrants and the programmed response will be violent resistance.
Denying this fact is only an emotional response of not wanting to deal with the guilt and reality that the West had a large helping hand in creating terrorism as we know it today.

Exactly. Reasons the Jihad targets the U.S.: support for tyranny in the Middle East, U.S. interventions in the Middle East (often against its own interests, such as in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, etc...), and U.S. support for Israel (Especially in the Israel/Palestine conflict).
ISIS is an insurgency, and largely due to foolish U.S. actions in the Middle East, such as the Invasion of Iraq in 2003, the Jihad has spread across the Middle East and North Africa.
I've been saying for a while that we created ISIS....or shall i say that we SURELY created the conditions for it by yet again interfering in the internal affairs of a foreign nation thereby making a bad situation much worse.
This piece/interview in the Guardian by Martin Chulov features an interview with Abu Ahmed, who explains how they formed ISIS right under our noses by using Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi (ISIS leader), who tricked the Americans into believing that he was a peaceful Sunni leader. This excerpt is unbelievable:
Pathetic. And it gets worse:
Congratulations my fellow Americans. You should be proud.
If we wouldn't have invaded Iraq in the first place there would likely be no ISIS either. That is a lesson that ***holes like Lindsey Graham and John McCain should learn before they pop off at the mouth about Iran, Syria, Libya, etc.
We would act in the same way if another country invaded us for reasons no one can explain.
So your assertion is that were the US to lose Constitutional control of its government with elections cancelled and the bill of rights suspended under martial law and a supreme ruler`s dictates, and if Americans finding themselves living in a Stalinist police state were invaded by a superior military power that not only destroyed the dictatorship but fully restored representative democracy, that these now liberated Americans would turn against their liberators?
Did our bumbling through Iraq help foment favorable conditions for extremist groups to rise out of? Absolutely.
When you get to the nub of the matter, these groups want to destroy Israel and any nation or organization allied with it. Even if there had been no war, we'd be targeted by association with our allies.
