Green scheme, undoubtedly concocted by rich white liberals, makes life a living hell for hotel housekeepers

I rarely stay in hotels but I put the "do not disturb" tag on and I specifically request NO housekeeping service during my visit. It isn't because I want green warm and fuzzies. It's because A.) I don't mess up the room and B.) I don't want people coming in there when I'm not there.

Not so fast. Like ancient Gaul, this problem can be divided into 3 parts: there is gov't policy that impacts on labor markets; there is the whole 'greeen' culture of liberalism; there is the policy enacted by this particular hotel. So after I opened my own hotel, I would also have to open my own government and my own culture.

I am still wondering how cleaning a room less creates more work when one still needs to clean the same things that they would need to clean anyway.

"Green" and the hotel industry is nothing more than marketing. There is nothing a hotel does that could be considered truly "green."
