Some forum posters are a crack up. How many times do we hear" the parties should work together like adults and compromise". And in this bill the parties get together and the forum partisans find a way to blame the other party on a bad bill. This is what bi partisan mostly looks like.

So compromising by letting Republicans have what they want is somehow the Democrats' fault? So should the Democrats shut the government down and try to force the Republicans to not screw over the American public? Just remember who all those who want small government voted for, Republicans.

uhh, Democrats have been screwing the American people (people who pay the bill) for 6 years. R's thank you and Obama for funneling more of our money to the government. That should make you happy.

Simple change needs to be done, remove the banking issue and the immigration issue. This will give both parties something to fight over for the next 2 years. Let the sheep follow.

So, Democrats, you OWN this bill. You've had every opportunity to block it and didn't.

Time to stop complaining!
I agree. Keeping the Country functioning is very important to the Dems.

Interesting. It is just dawning on republicans what they have wrought with this congress. They are so paranoid about being blamed that they are pre-emptively blaming dems. Typical that they are already spinning..

Yea, so they put through a bill you don't like . But you got them paranoid,.. cool!

It would have been difficult to get Senate Democrats and the president to agree to a bill that blocks or at least hampers Obama’s plans.

Why not give the entire vote 67 republicans voted against the bill

It's a lousy bill for many reasons but I guess in this political climate lousy is the standard.

By they way when a bill passes everyone owns it, that doesn't mean it's a good idea just a compromise.
