Not having an argument doesn't give one the right to create a strawman either.

So, please let me get this clear.
A law enforcement officer confronts someone, and that someone is argumentative, uncooperative, and potentially dangerous.
What is the officer to do?
Now, add to the mix that the person being confronted has committed a crime, or is holding a gun, or both.
What is the officer to do?
Now, add to the mix that the person becomes violent and resists arrest.
What is the officer to do?

It would appear that there are many who would say the officer should just back off and let the person go on his way. If so, why bother to call for help in the first place? Why bother trying to arrest anybody?

The bottom line is, IMO, if you don't want to have problems with the police, don't give THEM any problems!

A twelve year old is playing with a toy gun.
What is the officer to do?

The victim being uneducated or ignorant is a dodge and excuse to turn a blind eye to criminal acts by cops.
Not standing up for the cops, but in many cases uneducated and ignorance leads to criminal tendencies. These tendencies lead to increased police encounters, and victim mentality.

Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6. Some hoodlums out there are 12 years old or less. NEVER point what looks to be a gun at a cop.

To the OP: it ain't just a "Black" thing sounding stupid, I've heard some "white" people who sound dumb too.
