You may think so now, but the fallout would be disastrous, for the country, the insurance industry, and ultimately, the GOP. That's why they will talk and talk and talk about it, but the Republican elite will not let it happen. They know this as well. All the rhetoric is just red meat for the base.

Now it's possible that they draft some sort of replacement bill that will be eased in to lessen the damage that a simple repeal would bring---LOLOL! What am I saying? They've had six years and haven't even thought about that. Sorry, I got carried away there for a moment into thinking the GOP was actually interested in such things.

The leeches will lose their subsidies. All that's left to repeal after that are the mandates.

What we had before, with whatever flaws you think that system had, was immensely better than this government run boondoggle of a socialist program that was forced on the American people against their will.

So, before, we had some people who couldn't afford insurance. Now nobody can. Premiums have double, even tripled or quadrupled for some people. Many can no longer see the doctor that's been treating them for years and many have to travel many miles for treatment because that is the facility that is "in their network."

For people who travel for a living, or have vacation homes, they are not covered, because Obamacare makes no provision for you to receive treatment outside your area.

The best thing that could happen is for the Republicans to repeal this expensive and unworkable job killing bill, whatever the difficulty in recovering the old system.

The health care system was not broken, even if their were flaws in the insurance system. The way to fix the insurance system has been discussed many times, however the Democrats had something else in mind - socialism!

Now, our health care system is a mess as well as the insurance (Obamacare) system.

And, just as predicted, doctors are quitting the practice, taking early retirement.

Don't worry. With Obamacare you may not need insurance at all. You'll be dead. They won't treat you either, for the same reason ... you're too old.

Pelosi did need to pass it to see what was in it for her... Losing the gavel.

Sadly, she didn't learn from the experience.

It's all just a football for the political elites to toss around. They take turns handing power back and forth, all while transferring more and more power to themselves. The side matters not when the goal is the same for both parties.

The DNC has clearly been hijacked by the progressives, and the moderates have been obliterated. This is why Clinton could very well be challenged by Warren, who is a staunch progressive and far left of her (Clinton) -- I don't see any faction within the party who will steer it back to the middle.

The RNC has clearly been hijacked by progressive conservatives. They claim to want smaller government, while doing exactly what their liberal counterparts do; expand it! The light at the end of the RNC tunnel are the Libertarians and the TEA people. Just a decade ago we were just a tiny fraction and completely ignored. Now, we have gained a strong foothold in the wheelhouse of the political ship. We'll see what happens in January.

And now the usual suspects will chime in with "Premiums haven't gone up" and "Doctors aren't leaving their practice". The are like lemmings rushing off the cliff all the while denying reality.

I still believe the intent of ACA was to be so bad, so costly, so horribly managed; the government would come to the rescue of their own insanity by moving to a single-payer system. They couldn't get the people to accept one on the merits, so they forced ACA down our throats to make a one-payer system look good.

It's crony capitalism and totalitarian politics at its best!

These are the same people who have been cheerleaders for Obama since day one. They tout how well the equities markets are doing, yet are totally disconnected from the facts of why they;re doing good, and who (the 1%ers) it benefits! These are the people who say "at least people with previous health issues are now covered" yet are totally disconnected from the fact that they could have legislated that without taking over the healthcare industry.

The point was to take control of the industry, not make it more affordable, or better. And viola, here we are.

Gruber had a fatal flaw... he told the truth when he thought nobody was recording.
