Only a hack lawyer would make such a ridiculous argument. Why are you supporting this man? He hasn't paid his taxes. He's had due process up the ying-yang. In hack-lawyer-speak, sure, he's not a criminal, but since people do go to prison for types of tax evasion, I wouldn't be so quick to support a deadbeat like Bundy who has illegally evaded taxes for two decades. I couldn't care less about Bundy scum (nor the scum militiaman who said he'd put women and children in front as shields, a'la Al Qaeda. And now you know why they're called terrorists. As much as I oppose Harry Reid, he was right. Sadly, the other senator from my state, whom I support, was wrong. Bundy and his scum are not patriots.)

Why don't you start a thread on what a great guy George Zimmerman is.

Whom you associate with has been the issue with me for the GOP since 2008. Pick your battles better, clean up your base, and you might win my vote once more.

DHS has placed them on the terrorist watch list(Judge & jury)
At Cabela's a back ground check, revealed that the Bundy's have been convicted by our government without due process.

Who says we have a second amendment.

On a side note, the nephew, who's back ground check passed, bought the firearm Cliven was wanting to purchase as a gift to his son(also on the list)

They had suspected this when trying to board a flight out of Phoenix. Now confirmed.

Saw this on their Facebook page.

Called and convicted are two very different things.

Good. Serves him right.
Yes--pretty sure threatening federal officials and bringing thugs in to terrorize your town will land you on a terrorist list. Why should criminals be rewarded?

Why hasn't he been arrested then?
Ruby Ridge and the Branch Dividien were not as easy, as an old man.

Due process, fail!

Again, being on the Terrorist Watch List does not trigger a NICS refusal. I'm calling BS.

He should be arrested, but that is besides the point.

How is Bundy going to pay what he owes if he's in jail?

There's no comparison between Bundy and the 2 incidents you mentioned. Both Ruby Ridge and Waco became armed stand-offs, but the Bundy incident did not. It could have, but it didn't.

Waco and Ruby Ridge taught the federal law enforcement agencies one big lesson: patience pays off. There were other similar incidents similar to Ruby Ridge that happened afterwards, and in all of them, the federal agents involved played a waiting game instead of forcing the issues, as they had done before.

In all, and there were at least 4 that come to mind that happened in Montana and other states in the intermountain west, the people involved eventually gave up peacefully, with no one being shot, or hurt in any way. At least one group in Montana was far more threatening to local law enforcement than either Waco or Ruby Ridge was, but they never made national headlines because patience paid off.

Bunkersville could have very easily become another Waco. But it didn't happen, and it's not going to happen. In the end, Bundy committed no criminal offense; he committed a civil offense, the same as any deadbeat who doesn't pay his bills. And he will be tried in civil, not criminal, court for it. The government will simply wait him out, and his days are inevitably numbered. I expect that he will declare bankruptcy if he can't find the credit to pay off his bills, and that will be the end of the matter.

The days of high drama are left in the 20th century as far as the government's law enforcement goes. They will never initiate another Waco again.

Bundy will get his due process. Due process grinds slowly, but it grinds well.

Who took the first shot?
I do believe the Bundy Ranch was an armed stand-off. Or is an armed stand off only when the government kills someone by firing the first shot.

The deal is, Bundy's posse had the high ground, along with out numbering the thieves.
The thieves ran to the hills, without a shot fired. When their own mortality is threatened, the bully will always back down.

There has been no due process. A clear abuse of power.

When the goons get told to go pillage and they are met with their mortality, with no dog in the game. They will certainly go back to the king and tell him to go fight with them. They mean business.

On Friday October 10th, 2014 a Notice from the federal registry reveals that the federal government is mounting retaliations against the Bundy family and the Southern Nevada people.
Federal Register / Vol. 79, No.197 Notice, outlines plans to make the Bundy ranch and most of the rest of Southern Nevada, Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs). 90 days from October 10th, 2014 these proposals will become federal law without consent from the Nevada State legislatures or the people of Southern Nevada.
Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) are human restricted management areas. ACECs have been a tool used by the federal government to gain further control of large masses of western lands and the resources.
As proposed, nearly 3 million acres in Southern Nevada will be locked away from the people. This includes most uses on the land (recreational, agricultural or otherwise).
Listed below are just a few of the outlined restriction that come with ACECs:
· Closed Roads
· Excluded Trails
· Closed to Camping
· Closed to Recreational Vehicles
· Closed to Motorized Travel
· Closed to Livestock Grazing
· Restricted Human Hiking
· Restricted Horseback Riding
· Exclude Group Recreations
· Closed to Mineral Development
· Closed to Water Access
· Closed to Hunting / Target Shooting
The Southern Nevada people soon will have less access to their lands than any other people in the history of this country.
There are 33 new Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) proposed to cover Southern Nevada totaling 1,739,795 acres. 12 of the 22 existing ACECs are also proposed to be expanded. (See List Below) The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) filed this lists on October 1st.

This is a direct assault on the State of Nevada. It is also a deliberate retaliation against the people for standing against the horrific action of several federal agencies at the Bundy ranch.

This should go over well!
