Now this should really irritate people...

Pretty straight forward questions:

Quote:

Yes. Increased regulations on firearms are necessary to prevent another tragedy like the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary. 3.6% (3,047 votes)
Quote:
No. Laws like this unnecessarily punish lawful gun owners and will do little to prevent mass shootings. 95.39% (80,819 votes)

Quote:
Unsure. It's important to keep the weapons out of the wrong hands, but this may not be the solution. 1.01% (857 votes)
I searched and did not notice any other threads...if so, I'll delete or merge threads please.

I've seen this posted on about half a dozen gun and hunting sights I visit. Guess how many of those 95% are non gun owners.

Yep, not a bit of bias happening here at all, I'm sure.

Ahhh yes....internet news polls, the true bastion of unbiased sampling.

Funny, I bring up a PBS poll....you complain about a poll and then to "state facts" you provide another poll....

First, is that English? I'm struggling to parse whatever you're saying. I'm assuming it's "The point of these polls is to have fun with the hoplophobes".

Which is exactly my point. I know how internet polls work. "Hey guys, the position we don't like is winning! Let's flood this poll with our opinion!" And so it gets passed around to like-minded people and the results end up massively skewed.

So, yay. Chucksnee found a massively biased internet poll which doesn't actually reflect the general public's opinion on gun control and has no real bearing on anything. Good for them, I guess.

If you can't see the difference between a properly conducted polling and a news poll posted on a website, the problem is you, not me.

Do you not understand the difference between a scientific and non-scientific poll?
