Sony has canceled the December 25 release of "The Interview" after most of the country's large theater chains had decided not to show it.
So maybe we should boycott the movie studios for a few weeks. Which for me would be a real bummer. I was going to see the Hobbit on Sunday and we usually go to a movie on Christmas day.
I'll be boycotting every chain that refused to show the film and all Sony pictures.
Considering hollywood must receive countless threats in general on a constant basis, I can't believe that they'd go this far on a scarcely-credible threat. On Sony's end this has nothing to do with the threats to theaters and everything to do with those yet released hacked emails.
God I can't wait till the whole movie theater business goes under. Between going to the theater being overpriced and now them pulling this spineless ***** move I'm longing for the day when we can just download movies for like $5 and just watch it at home. There would be no excuses about anyone being liable for the safety of the viewer than.
This movie should have never been made in the first place they did not think that making a movie about killing the North Koren Leader would lead to any trouble Some real dumb a holes at Sony that were in it just for the money and did not care what would happen in return for this like big flop

Why should it not have been made in the first place? There was a movie called Deterrence where Kevin Pollak plays the President of the United States and nukes Iraq just to prove a point. You had both Red Dawn movies with the 2nd one dealing with North Korea. This movie isn't very extreme compared to other movies that have been made. Hell this isn't really even a first since we had a first person shooter game a few years back where you kill Fidel Castro.
