Why were guns they banned from the Republican National Convention? Shouldn't delegates have been encouraged to brings their guns to the Convention?

LOL. Had to dig pretty deep to find those, and only one of them is even questionable.

Why did you even bother responding, if you couldn't support your implication? You just HAD to jab back for some reason? Did you feel personally insulted by what I wrote? Did I touch a nerve, or hurt your wittle feewings? Regardless, pretty desperate move, hammer. Thanks for the comedy.

Oh, and this thread is CLEARLY a troll thread. Whether you agree with his position or not is (or would be, to an objective person - I realize you don't fall into that group, though) irrelevant - it's against the terms of service.

Despite its rambling nature, the OP makes some sense. While I can agree with a limit to carrying firearms INSIDE a nuclear power facility, why is a firearm inside a car in the parking lot illegal? Do the people that work there not have a right to protection just because of their job? Heck, guns are allowed in cars in the parking lots of college campuses and schools. If a gun in a parking lot is a threat to a nuclear facility, then we should be really really REALLY concerned about the real security we afford our nuclear facilities.

Parking lot excluded.

The Lax Security piece is misleading.

Reacter containment buildings designed to withstand an impact from a 747 or similar aircraft of the era of a design. 550' is not nearby nor a danger. I wager they were under camera surveillance but unaware of it. Nuclear Security folk are DOE trained similar to SWAT type training.
