Electric cars create more pollution than gasoline powered vehicles: study

I'm a little surprised that no one has done a thread on this important story, but I don't see one so here goes.

Liberals have been pushing the alternative-powered cars for some time, but it turns out that they are more polluting that the good ole internal combustion engine. The thing to realize is that most electricity is produced by the burning of coal, and the burning of coal produces greenhouse gases.

You Leaf, Volt, and Tesla drivers: shame on you. You are destroying the environment.

You really should watch the entire video. Only electricity produced by coal power is dirtier than gas powered cars.

Actually in 2013 coal provides only 39% of electricity in the US.....It depends on where you live and how your electricity is produced.....Here the source is 90% hydro power.
