People are now concerned about a possible extradition of Assata Shakur now that Obama has open relations with Cuba. With a US embassy on the island, is an Assata Shakur extradition possible? Should she be pardoned? Some say that her conviction was a result of judicial mistreatment. Her trial had an all white jury and a toll of other injustices brought against her.

There is no extradition agreement or even normal relations. Nothing much really has occurred other than we will have a embassy.Obama has very limited powers in that regard.

Cuba could turn her over if they chose, but they have no obligation to do so, and they have no good reason to do so.
