This is quite interesting! Look at the numbers change from 2008 to 2010 - it just proves the point that self-reported data (esp. on such sensitive topic) is highly unreliable. 2008-2010 changes in handgun ownership simply reflect the changes in political climate, but the OP probably believes that all those people actually did run to sell their handguns once Obama took office.

I decided to buy a gun in support of gun owners. I ordered my new assault rifle online today. God Bless America.

Low twenties is old these days? Lol.

You are also being racist, assuming we all share skin color just because we share an opinion and are well educated on the subject.

In the meantime, expect some blistering, honest, and straightforward criticism of gun nut policies like concealed carry and guns in schools in other threads that I will be making.
Interesting, I wouldn't choose words like "honest" or "blistering" to describe your criticism, I would use words like "flaccid", "unsubstantiated", or "fabricated".

You have not been honest in this thread and have lost ALL creditability....

You cannot ever be taken serious again....

Hogwash, crap, garbage and, trolling are other acceptable terms.

Households With Guns Declines Since 1970s

And don't give me the "more gun sales than ever" bs. That's people ADDING to their gun collections, while the overall number of individual gun owners continues to fall sharply.

And the percentage will continue dropping as more people realize that guns are the source of 30,000 preventable deaths a year. Just look at how I 594 passed with overwhelming support, and Cuomo, Hickenlooper and Malloy were reelected by wide margins, showing increasing support for gun control.

Gun "enthusiasts"... your "hobby" is dying out, and there's nothing you can do about it.
OK, so you approve of the government taking over your life. Sounds like you just might be a democrat...

I 594 passed here solely due to the power of advertising. They spent over $10 million, mostly coming from a handful of billionaires including Gates, Allen, and Ballmer. It goes to show that if you put enough money into advertising, you can persuade people of anything.

You can persuade them that it's a good idea to tax a traveling salesman to benefit millionaire pro athletes and billionaire pro sports owners. You can persuade them that they are in dire need of a 'pet rock.' You can persuade them that it's a great idea to light some leaves on fire and deeply inhale the smoke. This is where humans can actually be a little dumber than wild animals. No wild animal would ever intentionally inhale smoke from burning leaves, or would ever voluntarily give up its claws and teeth as a way to reduce violence.

The police are supposed to protect you. Carrying your own gun in public just undermines their job.
Your gross ignorance becomes more apparent with every post you make. You should really go to a range sometime and watch the cops shoot. It would be a real eye opener for you....

BTW: The Supreme Court has ruled that a police officer has no obligation to protect the public.

He's your commander in chief. You MUST obey him.

A president that would overstep his authority with a major gun grab goes against the Constitution, and in short would be grounds for impeachment.
