So much for airport security. I think we have seen the last of those with security clearances whipping through screening, rightfully so. Imagine someone taking your pen knife away while the guy sitting next to you has a bag with 20 guns. Naïve to think this is the only person smuggling.

Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson is expected to announce the arrest of
Mark Henry and other co-conspirators on Tuesday. Henry is accused of smuggling
129 handguns and two rifles from May to December with help from a Delta ramp
agent. At least some of the guns were hidden in carry-on luggage, sources
said.

Henry smuggled at least 129 handguns and two assault rifles over the course of multiple trips between May 1 and Dec. 10, according to an FBI affidavit. At least some of those guns were ferried in carry-on bags on flights from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to Kennedy Airport, the document said.

Airport "security" is nothing but a feel-good measure to give people a false sense of security while flying. Sure, all the nonsense you have to go through before boarding a plane will make it harder for someone to carry out some dastardly plan, but it will by no means stop them. It just makes it harder. It's a complete joke, and enormous waste of money, and an even bigger waste of time. Let the airlines handle their own security - it's their planes, customers and reputation on the line. They have a far more urgent need to ensure that their flights are actually secure and on time than the TSA does. The TSA doesn't give a rats ass if you make your flight or if that flight is actually secure.

Those are the ones we know about, seems like the ATF needs more employees.
