Uh I don't know - FREE AIR TRAVEL from Jet Blue? Do you really believe that some of these policemen would have spent their OWN $$ to pay respect?

Sorry, I guess you don't comprehend. Do you want me to explain it to you. They felt the mayor turned his back on him and in turn they turned their backs on the mayor in honor of him.

If they didn't do that, they attended not out of respect, nor mourning, but simply union posturing.
What a crock of political correctness!

Again, Natalie. It was a funeral. I'd have liked to have seen them arrange a meeting with the mayor, but like Westboro Baptist, these clownish cops do not understand a funeral is NOT the place for a protest.

Having behaved childishly, IMO now they do NOT deserve that meeting.

But why did they feel that way? Specifically.

You know why they felt that way because it's been in the news.

That is right..
I didn't see any signs to kill the mayor.. I didn't see the cops marching , yelling lets kill .. yet, the cops have to take that kind of abuse as Deblasio adds his divisive comments against the police. Deblasio is no peacemaker.
