I see these videos of Police officers turning their back on Deblasio and I'm not sure why. I can't see any reason why they would blame him for the 2 officers that got shot. The most I can find is that they think he is not backing them. If so, can someone point to what he said? I saw where he said he instructed his black son on how to deal with cops if he's ever stopped and that seems perfectly fine and what I would expect of any parents of black kids.

Either way, I think it is a terribly disrespectful thing for them to do at a funeral of all places....and even the hospital. and I mean disrespectful to the family and the officer at the funeral. They may have differences but now they just took attention away from their fallen officer. There's a time and a place for it and that was not it. If they want to do it at a department meeting or at a political rally, fine. Not at a funeral. I'm actually quite disappointed and saddened that they did that.

Go back and read about DeBlasio during his campaign for mayor. His rift with the NYPD goes back to before he got elected.
Then read forward on all his public comments about cops in NYC.

They did it at the funeral, too? That's pretty tacky. There's a time and a place to protest.

The NYPD union has always been militant, and their sheep (who wear the uniforms) follow along blindly. Lynch was backing the cops executing Louima, 41 shots at an unarmed guy in a vestibule, and this "We never do nothing wrong" guy was blindly back the cops in that case, too.

The public servants in blue became the public masters, and too many of the public blindly are fine with that.

Like many parents of black kids, he gave his kid 'the talk' about how bad police are instead of teaching him about statistics. probability and common sense.

What kind of a shows up at a funeral he's specifically asked NOT to attend?

Answer: Bill DeBlasio, f/k/a Warren Wilhelm, communist piece of trash.

He got two cops killed for starters. Then he had the gall to go to one of their funerals.

He never should have gone as he just cast a dark shadow on the funeral itself. Typical politician .

How exactly did he get two cops killed? Was he on the beat with them or something? These police are just acting like thugs protesting at a funeral, they clearly have no shame or respect for the dead.
