OP Obama is a dictator. Plain and simple. It is his way or the highway. That is the way dictators operate. Let him use his veto pen. I hope that the senate and house have the nerve to override his veto each and every time.
If he is a dictator, then it would not matter whether or not the Congress has a 'nerve' as they would not have the authority to create bills in the first place.
The Democrats don't have to sound Conservative because the Republican Party will go wacko right. It'd be different if the Republicans would actually try passing more centrist legislation, but they're incapable of doing that. They can't help but go full tilt boogie wackjob right...it's in their bloodstream.
The Democrats will actually be more liberal than before as a party because the Blue Dogs have been defeated. What's the sense in being more conservative in that case? There is none. Republican voters have shown that they won't reward Blue Dog Democrats for opposing Obama.
Obama has never been in a better position. The split congress was bad for his presidency. The battle lines are much better delineated with Republicans having control over both houses.

If the democratic party didn't push Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as being in good shape to Bush the crisis wouldn't have happened in the housing market.. because Bush wanted to inspect the housing market and the democrats moves so the housing market investigation never was.. If it hasn't already happened, Watt has given them approval to start back the sub-prime lending nonsense again.
Oh yeah, and Mel Watts, a 20 year congressman from a court ordered gerrymandered district designed to elected a black representative (by court order) never ran in a real election. No coincidence that it's the same district as the HQ of Bank of America.

It was a house of cards.. and the American people suffered . When Bush compromised, the dems attack when it fell,then they attacked him over issues they wanted compromise on.. kind of weird don't you think?
The dems idea of everyone owning a home... whether one could afford it or not.. the whole mess was corrupt. There is no truth in our government and many greedy people today.
