Isnt THIS exactly the same as the NAALCP??? so, to the lib, this is a "HATE" group, but the NAALCP is not?

The motto of the black lib: Civil Rights for ME, but not for thee!

I think the dying Democrat dinosaurs are panicked as they watch Obama destroy their Party.

Oh man, this is a good'un. From the Washington Post:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/politi...y.html?hpid=z1
Quote:
Scalise’s political circle worked furiously late Monday to quell the storm, with his confidants e-mailing reporters and House members, assuring them that Scalise did not know the implications of his actions in 2002 and describing him as a disorganized and ill-prepared young politician who didn’t pay close attention to invitations.
"Hey intern, sign me up to speak at this EURO convention thing."
"Um, Mr. Scalise, shouldn't I research the organization fir-"
"Oh shut up, it's something about European Americans and Unity or whatever. I'm sure that's like the Swedish-American Club or something."
"...but sir, David Duke's the keynote spea-"
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP AND SIGN ME UP FOR IT. Put me in for that NAMBLA convention thingy too while you're at it. EVERYONE MUST HEAR MY TAX REFORM IDEAS."

Quote:
Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a leading conservative in the House, said in an interview Monday that he stood by Scalise and believed that many conservatives in the House’s hard-right bloc would do the same. “Jesus dined with tax collectors and sinners,” King said.
MY GOODNESS THAT IS SOME SPIN. Admittedly, Rep. King's statement would have made sense if Rep. Scalise's remarks at the EURO convention were along the lines of "Hey guys, this whole 'white superiority' thing seems a tad uncouth. Ya know? Doesn't that seem to rub y'all morals the wrong way, or is that just me? Now y'all want to read Colossians 3:9-11 with me or what?" But nope, he was giving a lecture on conservative tax reform. Doesn't really fit the Jesus-y thing.

Though maybe Rep. King is onto something about this whole "compare a scandal involving unsavory groups to Jesus" excuse. I'll remember that the next time I get caught hanging out in a brothel. I WAS ONLY DISCUSSING TAX REFORM WITH THEM. YOU KNOW JESUS HUNG OUT WITH PROSTITUTES TOO, RIGHT?

Did you read the whole article? He made a speech for this group, apparently about reining in government spending. He did this at a time when he was an unknown and sought publicity. Probably not a good choice, but it doesn't prove he is a bad guy.

Unless it can be shown that he endorses this group's beliefs, there is no story.

He was there, that means he endorses their beliefs.

Come on now...don't get all brand new and start changing up. React the same way you would if this were a black congressman at a black supremacist meeting.

Keep it real.

lol

Seriously? Are you guys for real doing this?

I mean, it's all about irritating liberals on CD isn't it? You guys don't give a hoot about the future of the GOP at this point, do you?

You just compared the NAACP, the group that brought Brown v. Board of Education to America; a group who's legal action laid much of the legal groundwork for desegregation and the Civil Rights legislation of the 1950s and 60s, to an avowed white nationalist organization that once published an article stating:

Quote:
"The beautiful Germany of the 1930s with blonde children happily running through every village has been replaced with a multi-racial cesspool. Out of work Africans can be seen shuffling along the same streets, which used to be clean and safe in the days of the National Socialists. One day, people in Germany will grow tired of the politically correct police state that is destroying their lives. They will recover their national pride and start speaking the truth about their past regardless of what the militant lesbians or thought police tell them. Once that happens, Germany may finally be a great nation again -free of foreign control."
You just did that.

Are some of you guys just pretty much to the point where you're like "we know the minority vote is growing, but screw the idea of broadening our appeal, let's just hope the 41% of whites that don't vote Republican are secretly racist"? Just curious.

Rather difficult to defend someone who represents you making speeches to the KKK.

Not to mention Obama's long time association with the brown supremist Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

And NAN isn't a black supremacist group to my knowledge.
