It is still plain everyday stupid, in fact the example shows how flawed these types of polls are. I don't care what your party affiliation is. That isn't the point, the point is the poll is a buch of crap...plain and simple. But if you want to get all excited and are happy, enjoy it... Just remember how many people were polled for starters and think of how many choices each of us would have. I can't imagine coming up with a name of the most admired person in the world...most just name the name they hear the most.

For that matter, who in their right ****ing mind admires Hilary Clinton more than his own mother? Seriously.

If I was to make a list of women I admire most. A celebrity or politician wouldn't crack the top 50.

These kinds of polls are absolute insanity, and have no relationship whatsoever with reality.

The polls should merely be "What famous person do you like the most?".

It is a popularity contest, and is completely useless. Who cares? Are we all back in high school or something?
I agree. I admire my wife, my daughter, and my mother more than any named on that list. At least Beyonce isn't on the list.

Default For the 7th year - Obama is the most admired man in the world - Gallup

He's certainly far ahead of admiration for anyone on the right.

Justifiably so.

The girl who was shot for just going to school and tells the Taliban in her own way "Dont Tread On Me" gets my vote!

There's a difference in the title of the thread and the what the title of the article says.

I'm sure you read past the title to at least the first line of the first post.

They polled the wrong people.

The same people who scream and faint when they catch a glimpse of THE ONE.......are the people who voted in this poll.

I can't believe that this is the absolute best Gallup can do.

So much recognition for someone who hasn't accomplished anything in his life. Either this has been a slow news year or this country doesn't have any heroes anymore. That's sad that politicians (and, lately, bad ones) are people that anyone would admire.
