So now that the New Black Panthers and other rabble rousers have shown up in Ferguson and started spewing their violent rhetoric how is this any different than the Klan or any other "white pride" group?
I'm surprised some of these white pride groups haven't shown up at some of these events to add their noise to the parades.
I'd submit they're both alike, just different colors.
One Eric Holder approves of and the other one not so much....... If a Klansman had stood in front of a polling station with a baseball ball the whole DOJ would have been on the case within an hour.
I don't condone any group that calls for the death of someone based on skin color. Both groups are dangerous in that respect. They may be fools, DD, but calling for someone's death is nothing to be ignored. It is dangerous and ugly.
The New black panthers should not be confused with the old black panthers as they are two seprate organizations.
And yes there is a BIG difference between the Klu Klux Klan and the black Panthers.
The Black Panthers Started Food programs feeding the children in their community, ( which started summer food programs still in use today) Set up free healthcare clinics, And also defended their community from violent attacks by Racist white Police officers and Violent whites.
The black panthers have Zero History of Violence, Property Destruction, or expulsion of thousands of whites from their homes.
Ah, such a short/selective memory.
The Black Panther party had a specific platform laid out in 10 points. It included goals such as: "We want power to determine the destiny of our black and oppressed communities," and: "We want land, bread, housing, education, clothing, justice and peace." In the long term, the group aimed rather vaguely at a revolutionary overthrow of the white-dominated status quo and black power. But they had no more concrete platform for governing
They WANTED not we want to work for, or the right to earn but WANT (aka give us).
History: 1967-1968: A number of shootouts between Black Panther members and the police, leave a number of both parties dead April 6, 1968: An armed confrontation between Black Panthers and police led to a 90 minute confrontation at a building housing Panthers. Eventually, the Panthers surrendered. Over the course of the day, at least four policemen were wounded and one killed. One Panther member, Bobby Hutton, was killed by the police and seven others were arrested.

You seem to missed him pointing out there was a difference between the new and the old Panthers, so the memory issue might not be his.
