I can't help watching MTP this morning in his section on the women in charge of Washington but think that they're in charge for the basic fact of the color of their skin.
No.. I don't automatically think that. If I see an Asian in charge, I think "okay.. he/she must have the qualifications it takes to get this position." If I see an African American in a position of power, I think the same damn thing. They must have the skills.. otherwise, not many companies/organizations will put someone into authority.

Race has nothing to do with it to me.
sex either. my feeling is that the person in their position has earned that position.

I don't automatically think AA. That seems to be the purview of some unqualified/ less qualified white men.
