Thimerosal is totally irrelevant with respect to current vaccines.
Why was mercury removed from vaccines?

Was it?

What replaced the mercury?

Simple question. Yes or No. I had measles in 1949. Will I be spreading measles without a vaccination or booster? How about Mumps? Or Chicken Pox?

Most people seems to think so.

Thimerosal was removed from vaccines because of the Wakefield inspired hysteria about it. It was never included in many vaccines.

Nothing replaced it. Vaccines are just produced in formats that do not need it as a preservative.

It is in multi-dose versions of flu vaccine. Anyone who does not want a flu vaccine can ask for the single dose version.

I suspect few people think so. No one who understands the biology of infectious diseases and the physiology of vaccines would.

People who are vaccinated do not spread those diseases, either. They just do not have to get sick in order to be protected.

Please provide some documentation. And remember, the plural of anecdote is not data.

Probably not measles, it is extremely rare for someone to get an actual second case. But mumps, yes, it happens. And it happens even more often with chickenpox.

Bet they never got their money back, either.

I know it's anecdotal but being a human being, experience counts for something. It also backs up the data that shows the flu vaccine efficacy is overblown.

It doesn't back up anything. 90% of the kids who died last year were unvaccinated.

The only reportable flu deaths are pediatric deaths, of which there have been 15 this season already, again, mostly in the midwest and south.
CDC: Flu has reached epidemic levels, 15 child deaths so far

There is still time to get a flu shot, and contrary to much popular opinion, the flu shot this year is not "worthless".
If you're not elderly, an infant or have a compromised immune system why would you get the shot? Stay healthy, get plenty of rest and you're not likely to get it even when others have it. If you do get it, you'll fight it off and your immune system will be the stronger and healthier for it. I've had one flu shot in my life, last year, as required for an EMT training and that was the only time I've gotten in the flu in 20 years.
