He alone who owns the youth owns the future.
-- Adolf Hitler

That's because the youth has the least experience in life and their minds are easier to manipulate with propaganda.

Default Ever wonder what's wrong with our youth?

Nope.

It's just the same old "kids today" attitude of the jealously aging that's been around for millennia.

Today's youngsters will do fine. Probably better than my Boomer generation.

Ah. Yeah, we may have to agree to disagree on the divinity of that otherwise admirable guy.

Well, it doesn't matter what you or I think, Dane. It only matters what's true, and time will tell us that soon enough.

Shalom,

Mahrie.

Believing it to be true doesn't necessarily make it so.

Today's kids are better educated and far more aware of the current state of the world them my generation was in the 1950's and '60's. These kids will do quite well.

FWIW - As the step child of an alcoholic bully I knew the world was an unpleasant and unpredictable place from four years old. Fortunately for me my life got a lot better after I got Back from 'Nam.

They are the worst. In their minds it's always everyone else that's the problem. I'm glad you got away from the monster.

Agreed, ray, but in my experience the truth is usually self evident and discernible by all.

Shalom,

Mahrie.

Your "truth" requires that you believe it to be true - it is neither self-evident nor discernible.

Do you just like to argue, or do you just like to argue, ray?

I'm not talking about perceived truth, subjective truth, or wishful thinking. I'm talking about actuality -- y'know, FACT.

Good grief!

Mahrie.
