Anyone believe cops should not be adequately armed to stop an incidence like this from occurring.
They are bringing Military actions to civilian populations.

How are you going to protect citizens on the home front?

Yup, and France is going to have a hell of a time catching these people. At least 10 percent of its population likely sympathizes with them and they could flee to the Islamic state or any islamic state for that matter.

Security versus freedom. You give away freedom.

Charbonnier, who died today, chose freedom. He chose freedom when he received threats. He chose freedom when they burned the offices down. He chose freedom.

Given that a sizeable minority of Europeans are now Muslim, with birth rates exceeding that of atheists, Christians and others, limiting immigration will only hasten the demise of their culture. No, the answer is to maintain Non-Muslim immigration. That would still change the demographics but in a less worse way.

Think of all the $$ we'd all save in security and defense and how free we would all feel without the scourge of the Islamic world making daily headlines.
