No, they're fundamentalists because.....they're fundamentalists. I dare you to meet my muslim friends & then say that they want all of us dead. It's a stupid ignorant thing to think. Try using logic, you'll be amazed at how easy it is.

What a backward religion Islam is. The only country that has enough courage to face Islam with any strength and resolution is China. Its policy of "de-Islamization" in its far-western region of Xinjiang deserves our support. In China, women are not allowed to be veiled in public, men under a certain age are not allowed to have big beard, and no Islamic propaganda can be used in any shape or form anywhere. Islamic schools must focus solely on the words of the Quran, and no interpretations that incites violence or hatred are allowed. Unfortunately for China, many Uyghurs from Xinjiang sneak out of China and learn terrorist tactics in Pakistan and Afghanistan. They then sneak back into China and wreak havoc through terrorist attacks. It's going to be a long fight.

I agree and I stated this same opinion on the thread dealing with these attacks in the European forum. Freedom of speech can be defended here by mass publication of the cartoon. Ill buy one/.

That the West doesn't care about anyone else but their own. Which is mostly true anyway. So regardless, they're going to use whatever propaganda to recruit more to their extremists views.

Think about what the word fundamentalist means and how Islam is characterized as a perfect religion, the Koran a direct wording from God.

It's like saying Westbero Baptist church is a accurate representation of what it means to be christian.

It's like the great bumper sticker: "When Jesus said love thy neighbor, I'm pretty sure he meant don't kill them".

Westboro Baptists are a small group of nuts, not even a blip in the world of Christianity. Radical Isamists may not be a majority of Islam but they are a large minority that influences policy of middle east nations, or even dictates what kind of government is in power. Look at ISIS, do you think they do not command large swaths of territory???? Even moderate muslims have been proven to hold hatefull feelings toward other groups like Jews, Europeans and Americans. They just don't act on them, the radical Islamists do act on them. Why do you think there is little condemnation of terrorist acts from the middle east???? Remember the pictures post 9-11 celebrations in Palastine??? Those were the regular people of the middle east celebrating that barbaric attack, celebrating the start of a war. These people are not peaceful. The whole "religion of peace" thing is a total joke. They are the religion of death and war, period. If you doubt this read their long and unending history of war and conquest, and their long intolerance of others. Christians did wrong, had wars and persecutions and then learned from them. Over time Christianity became peaceful. Islam never learned, in fact they seem to be getting more violent and hateful.

You won't get opposition from me, I get it. There is no doubt that Islam has far more violent extremists then Christianity at the moment. I'm just saying that for every one radical, there are hundreds if not thousands of peaceable muslims who hate the radicals for tarnishing their religion with senseless violence. It's easy to get all up in arms after attacks like this one and start hating on muslims as a whole, but that would not be fair.

There are a massive amount of Muslims in this world, ISIS makes up a tiny percentage of them. We just have to get rid of the extremism, people can believe whatever they want so long as it doesn't include killing everyone who chooses not to believe the same thing. Most muslims don't want to kill everyone who believes differently then them.
