Where's the argument? Americans are not bearing as many children as in the past, just as it is in all the developed nations on the planet. That is not going to change now.

What do you think is 'better', Sommie? Encouraging more couples to have children by increased subsidizing, either brought tax cuts or government subsidies is not ever going to be popular, and it hasn't worked in China, where the government is doing just that to encourage the birth of more girls.

If our industries are to grow, increasing numbers of workers of all kinds will be needed. The need WILL be filled one way or another, and we are still underpopulated in comparison to the other developed nations, except for a few like Canada that have great geographical restrictions on how much the nation can grow.

Both are good. I would love it if the US had 1 billion people and California had 100 million. It would truly be beautiful.

Educated legal immigrants who place great value on their baby's education. A win/win for America.

We're what, number 3 or 4 in population? I know China and India have more people than the US, neither is a rich country per person compared to the US, Germany, Sweden, Japan and so on.

Agreed. Legal aliens of ANY race are usually decent.

Irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is the math.

For every two people that die, there needs to be two replacements.
