De Blasio is a tall guy....Though not sure why this is a political thread. It probably should just be in the nyc forum.

The shame continued as the mnedia tried to cover for Deblasio.

journalists die for freedom while the US media/journalists disgraces the tradition of journalism protecting their liberal masters.

Who knew the fate of the groundhog was sealed when 24% of NYC voters elected deblasio. The groundhog is a beginning of debalsio's innocent victims.

Deblasio leaves his borough to harass and kill a groundhog taken from his burrow.

No, not to be hidden in a NYC forum, Deblasio is national news and NYC is far from a provincial village.

Hope deblasio see his shadow and runs back to Cuba.

Well, to be fair, it was the media, CBS in fact, that ran the stories on de Blasio speeding and running stop signs, after de Blasio went after the citizens with a crack down on speeding and lowering the speed limits for NYC:

When the mayor announced his 62-point safe streets initiative, which includes lowering the speed limit to 25 mph, he said, “We want the public to know that we are holding ourselves to this standard.”

He also started a crack down on NYC residents for jaywalking:

In his administration’s first 40 days, that pledge translated into a series of ticket blitzes against drivers — and, in unusually large numbers, jaywalkers.
Jaywalking tickets are up nearly eightfold this year, despite the mayor’s insistence that his plan for safer streets did not include singling out pedestrians.

And then the media caught him de Blasio and staff jaywalking.

Mayor Bill de Blasio Is a Jaywalker, News Week

More scandalously: The “increasingly prickly” mayor was callously jaywalking, cell phone cocked to his ear and “handlers” at his side, just one day after his motorcade was caught running two stop signs — and three days after announcing new measures to limit traffic deaths.

Then why are you creating a thread about a local story in New York? Nothing going on in Wichita, KS today?

The pants looked like jean material. After blasts for the outfit that did the rounds both through the media and social media, Deblasio's office released a statement saying that his wife was wearing a matching pants suit. There's articles on line about the whole thing, as well as pictures of the suit and statements from the fashion designer that made the suit. I'm not going to post them because it distracts away from more important issues related to LE safety and the NYPD relationship with Deblasio. But anyway...........the woman apparently did not wear blue jeans to an officer funeral.

That idiot is a fool. Not the right kind of TOOL!

Very easy for a small animal like this to sustain internal damage from a fall. Depending how he landed, and internal damage, very easy for a small animal to die.

What a Tool, does he not know how to handle a small animal. Don't want him around my house.

The animal which was a Groundhog, had to have serious damage for him to die. We have had every animal you can think of. Yes we are animal lovers, and I like most animals better the most people!

Wait a minute!

Wait a gosh darn minute!

Let's get something straight:

The only REAL groundhog for predicting winter's end is PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL.

Phil lives in Pennsylvania. Got that??!!!

Gobbler's Knob is in Punxsutawney, PA. That's where Phil lives.

Who cares about some Punxsutawney Phil wannabe named "Chuck" anyway???

Did they make a movie about a critter named "Chuck" starring Bill Murray? Of course not!!!!

Hey, hey, hey, let's be respectful here, ok?

This woman is a REFORMED LESBIAN™, and is probably still having nightmares over the fact that she's no longer cleaning carpets.

We can't expect her to dress like a lady, can we?
