Many denialists say this. When challenged to prove it, however, they fail. I expect you'll fail too. And when I say "prove this", I don't mean show me that another right-winger says the same thing on his blog, because that's worthless. I'd like to know who was paid, what they were paid, who paid them, what they were paid to find, and what the real science reveals. So get to it; prove your claim.

It's all just a huge worldwide conspiracy of 100000s of scientists, all the major scientific organizations, all the universities and... long established principles of atmospheric physics are completely wrong.... right?

So because you couldn't be bothered to learn anything about the facts, all those scientists must be frauds and liars... right?

So who is the 'idiot'?
sorry - I didn't pay enough attention to my search, but I remember in the 70s scientist saying via news stories/tv stories, that we may be entering an ice age. bottom line - science will tell you whatever you pay them to say - here you go:
Consensus - not

Here is an extract:
Many of the outspoken scientists that disagree are retired. Due to the politicization of climate science, grants and funding are often cut off if scientists do not go along with the political consensus. “Joanne Simpson, the world's first woman to receive a Ph.D. in meteorology, expressed relief upon her retirement last year that she was finally free to speak "frankly" of her nonbelief. Dr. Kiminori Itoh, a Japanese environmental physical chemist who contributed to a U.N. climate report, dubs man-made warming "the worst scientific scandal in history." Norway's Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize winner for physics, decries it as the "new religion." A group of 54 noted physicists, led by Princeton's Will Happer, is demanding the American Physical Society revise its position that the science is settled.”

So you just swallow whatever popular media says or whatever some science denier blogger tells you without actually checking the facts. And you think all scientist are 'stupid' and 'idiots', and they are all liars just saying what they are paid by some unnamed entity to say... and it's a huge worldwide conspiracy. Got it.

just like you drink the global warming Kool Aid.... I don't

Further, even if the earth is warming, regardless of the cause, better to ADAPT, than try to prevent - do you honestly think China, India, etc are going to limit their CO2 emissions?

As to your comments regarding scientists, I work for a major insurance company in the US, we defend major litigation against our policyholder businesses. Our realm is the courtroom - full of your so-called "scientists" and "experts" testifying to whatever their "client" pays them to say. Yes, your precious scientists are paid hired guns - they say what they are hired, or forced by their employers, to say. And you see above in the quotes where this is true - say the wrong thing, no funding, which means, no job. True science does not exist any longer - it disappeared about 40 years ago or so.

If you are so smart, why do you feel the need to lie? Your percentage is way, way off, and you know it..... Climate change opinion by country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No, I take the time to educate myself on this topic from reputable science sources because I want to understand the facts. Clearly that's not something you could be bothered to do. Much easier to swallow the nonsense in right wing popular media or from science denier blogs and irrationally believe it's all some huge worldwide conspiracy by 100000s of scientists eh?

Of course, believing 100000s of scientists are lying or are stupid idiots is a convenient excuse for you to not to bother to actually learn anything about the science or the facts isn't it?

Doesn't global warming mean EXTREMES IN WEATHER more... and more intense? Not merely getting milder winters and hotter summers?

I am not way off - the biggest C02 emitting countries - China and India, have a 25% average that global warming is perceived as a threat. I admit I pulled 10% out of the hat, but I am not too far off - and if you interviewed the government leaders of these counties, it probably would be 10% or less.

Bottom line - climate change is an important issue to socialist/communists/radical liberal environmentalists. You guys can believe whatever BS you wanna believe, but leave the rest of us, and our wallets, out of it please.
