Progressives read books. Republicans watch FOX. Please don't go into the battle of wits without a weapon.

Well, that was nice wishful thinking on your part and I'm sure it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Unfortunately for your fantasy, the exact same thing happens on the right. Right wing candidates must trend towards the center in order to win general elections. I know how you leftists love your victimhood, but sorry to inform you that there's no conspiracy to portray liberalism as evil. This is just a moderate nation where politicians who appear too far to either side of center have trouble getting elected on the national stage.

My 4 year old reads books too and she's a great deal smarter than most of the liberal morons here on CD.

This is known as "rambling on" and it usually doesn't make much sense.

I've never met a liberal who was ashamed of letting everyone know it!

I'm liberal, and I'm popular.

I get invited to dinners, parties, gatherings, etc. I have a lot of friends and some local politicians even court me for an endorsement.

In fact, I'll go out on a limb and say without hesitation liberals throw better parties than conservatives.
