When you are the one that pays for the "free" handouts the president uses to buy votes, you end up with a more critical eye.

Read the thread. If it was more funding for college education, that's one thing. This is for community college. Very very few community college students ever complete college. This is not where we should be investing.

I will say the same thing to you as I do liberals who go off the deep end: Taking things to extremes does not make you look intelligent.

Perhaps she went to community college.... Another sign of why this is a horrible idea.

Well, I know I certainly pay for the "free" handouts, and as stated, AS A CONSERVATIVE, to those who think a Conservative cannot support this, and to those Conservatives who are screaming about money without even thinking, I support this.

Neo Cons go home.

Really? They are legitimate, REALISTIC questions

They say they can't work because they have children, why can they go to college but not to work?
How will they get to the college? A bus? Think about it.
They say they can't afford things now, how are they going to pay for gas to go to college everyday?

I'll bet you didn't even think about "study time".

Easy to understand liberals; just more free stuff they want.

You know what is fascinating? It's watching people who claim to be Republicans, who I've seen bash on liberals for saying stupid things, using ad hominem attacks, and basically foaming at the mouth with rage, act EXACTLY like the liberals they bash on.

Like it or not there is a growing number of poor people that the government has to take care of.
And CC is most likely the level of college that some of them can succeed in if only to learn a trade.
