There's just no end to all the stuff that they keep coming up with to spend more of peoples' money on.
  • Free healthcare
  • Free housing
  • Free utilities
  • Free food
  • Welfare
  • Free phones
  • Free tuition

Why stop there? How about free flat screens, free cable TV, free cars, free furniture, free laptops, and free tablets? Am I missing anything?

Did the Bush administration use privately collected donations for the invasion and occupation of Iraq?

No, he used public funds as did Kennedy and Johnson to invade Vietnam...

I'm not a liberal, but I'm not stupid either.

Free healthcare: First incarnation was passed by Republicans at the state level.
Free phones: Reagan
Free tuition: First incarnation was passed by Republicans at the state level.

That would be the states perogative, but not the federal governments.

So you agree that Conservatives are generous with other peoples' money as well.

I do, but I don't agree with the concept of any politician being generous with the taxpayers money.

Right. But that wasn't what the OP was talking about.

The OP purposely put a misleading title to put a spin things the same way that he called out Obama for putting a spin on things in this thread: The liberal agenda behind Obama's "free" 2 year college tuition

Ironic that no_more_handouts and Obama are the same kind.

Yes, they are. Republicans love to spend other people's money and Democrats love to spend other people's money even more.

But it is incorrect to say either of them are generous.
