He supposedly sent Eric Holder but isn't Holder just some guy who announced his resignation months ago but is still hanging around? Not even John Kerry? 50 World leaders...no Obama.
Seems to me the other world leaders dropped what they were doing to show solidarity.
Let me preface by saying I am no fan of Obama by any stretch of the imagination. That being said...
What exactly do you think a "protest march" is going to accomplish? Do you actually think that hardened Jihadists are going to take one look at 50 world leaders with nothing better to do than stand like idiots in the street, drop their weapons and think "good Allah, we better stop what we are doing. These guys look SERIOUS now!".
If you want to do something about terrorism, start by assassinating their leaders with drones, bombing the cities that support terrorism into oblivion and rolling a few columns of Abrams tanks with A10 support drirectly into the heart of Afghanistan, while instituting a scorched earth policy against everything they encounter on their way. Hell, maybe go as far as threaten nuclear annihilation for any state or kingdom that supports such radicals or provides them safe haven. It sure as hell worked on the Japanese who were far more a threat than any Islamic terrorist group has ever proved to be.
Of course, you may feel this approach really hasn't accomplished much since 9/11. However, it certainly would accomplish a lot more than 50 world leaders holding hands and singing Kumbaya ever would, for the love of god.
Now wonder Obama and Harper didn't want to go to Paris.
Obama is a pimp, but honestly what are these world leaders accomplishing? Its mainly through their own policies of interventionalism that radical islam has become the problem that it is.
This march is nothing more than a display of hypocrisy.
