It must be a real b**** to have a job where you are damned if you do and damned if you don't...... Don
Obama is double damned then. Because he first didn't then he did. People would rather have an ass for president who sticks to his guns and what he says, than one who doesn't stand for anything except the opinion poll of the day.
I am glad the United States was not represented given the fact that many of those same leaders hypocritically professing their love of free speech jail and flog journalists in their own countries.
It must be a real b**** to have a job where you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. You can bet your bottom dollar that if he had been there his detractors would have been complaining that he was doing it to showboat, or to take another vacation. Anyone who takes the job of President must have rocks in his head...........no matter what you would do or say, someone would be there to dissect it and find fault with what you did !
Maybe one of you who think you could do a better job should consider running for the office. After all, this IS America, and anyone can become President. Let's see how you do in that hot seat !
Don
The Obama haters basically invent things to complain about with this man.

Q: Which high level American officials visited the United Kingdom after suicide bombers killed 52 in 2005?
A: Not a single one.
[And, no, Democrats and liberals didn't bleat on and on about what a horror it was that this was so]
Were world leaders joined arm in arm for a rally like they had in France?
I by no means am saying we should not be in lock step with other nations who suffer these cowardly attacks, but I believe you are comparing apples to oranges.
Holder of course was in country (though why our AG is over there is beyond me), but couldn't make it over, even for a photo op?
I see that the usual suspects are prying themselves away from a decade-plus of sneering in contempt at all things French - from the 'freedom fries' linguistic idiocy to mocking John Kerry for being fluent in the language to Donald Rumsfelds' contemptuous dismissal of France as being part of 'Old Europe' because the French weren't stupid enough to join in the Iraq debacle - to pretend they give a whit about France and the French people.

By all means call out the hypocrisy of Republicans if you want, but don't confuse the issue - the point stands - it's a bloody shame that no top US leader attended the rally in Paris. Re the Democrat - Republican bickering, one could argue that's part of the same American self-absorption that contributed to a no show.
