Obama is double damned then. Because he first didn't then he did. People would rather have an ass for president who sticks to his guns and what he says, than one who doesn't stand for anything except the opinion poll of the day.

The WH realized it's faux pas in not sending someone higher up then an appointed campaign bundler and paid lip service to the press about security.

And many liberal MSM sites commented on it. The Daily News front page was something else.

They won't make the same mistake next time.

It would help if this post actually made some sort of sense.

I am glad the United States was not represented given the fact that many of those same leaders hypocritically professing their love of free speech jail and flog journalists in their own countries.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if he had been there his detractors would have been complaining that he was doing it to showboat, or to take another vacation. Anyone who takes the job of President must have rocks in his head...........no matter what you would do or say, someone would be there to dissect it and find fault with what you did !

Maybe one of you who think you could do a better job should consider running for the office. After all, this IS America, and anyone can become President. Let's see how you do in that hot seat !

Don
The Obama haters basically invent things to complain about with this man.

Were world leaders joined arm in arm for a rally like they had in France?
I by no means am saying we should not be in lock step with other nations who suffer these cowardly attacks, but I believe you are comparing apples to oranges.

Holder of course was in country (though why our AG is over there is beyond me), but couldn't make it over, even for a photo op?

The Daily News and Politico have suddenly become "Obama haters" ?

Barack Obama
Barack Obama’s French kiss-off
The president's decision to skip the Paris march raises eyebrows.

And the "Obamabots" will never admit, no, will never see that his highness is flawed and makes errors just as every other leader has/will.

People on either side blinded to their masters missteps by ideology have one thing in common.
Guess what that is?

Listen, do I think he should've gone? Sure. However, he didn't. I'm not going to focus & wring my hands over this for days & days. It's not worth it.

By all means call out the hypocrisy of Republicans if you want, but don't confuse the issue - the point stands - it's a bloody shame that no top US leader attended the rally in Paris. Re the Democrat - Republican bickering, one could argue that's part of the same American self-absorption that contributed to a no show.
