Apparently Orthodox Jews have problem with females as well like Islamic radicals; An ultra-orthodox Jewish newspaper in Israel removed German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other female leaders from a photograph showing European politicians attending the Paris solidarity march.
Chancellor Merkel was not the only women to be photoshoped out of the image – Israeli newspaper HaMevaser, or The Announcer, also decided to remove Paris Mayor Ann Hidalgo and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. Dannish PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt has also been cropped out of the image.

Yeah, that's not really a big surprise. It happens. I go to a pretty big, popular store in NY that is owned by Hasidic Jews, and a few years back they were sued for gender discrimination. Women were not given certain positions and were paid less, and they claim they were told it was because they were women. I admit I still shop there.
I guess members of the Haredi will soon be firebombing and shooting the employees of the independent for their insulting article?
Unlikely. Unlike Islamic extremists, they usually restrict their "prohibitions" to their own communities and neighborhoods. It can be a pain for Gentiles who live in an area where Haredis are in charge, though.

Considering middle east prehistoric stone age society, cropping photos of women is the least offensive behavior that could be directed toward women.
US Marketing and sales consistently crops pictures of women all the time.
