Why the sudden overwhelming pressure to get the flu shot this year? Hidden agenda?

I had all my vaccinations as a kid, including measles, and I got the measles anyway. It wasn't a light case, either...I was horribly ill. This year, for the first time in my adult life, I got the flu. I always figured why get the shot if I never get the flu? My case was very light...I was only ill for three days then was up and around. Friends of mine who got the shot also got the flu and were much sicker, much longer, than I was.

Because CVS, et al make money when you get the flue shot. This is nothing new they just are getting better at the advertising.
