What if Britain's David Cameron was somehow replaced by an identical looking cyborg that was remotely controlled by aliens from planet X who were planning to print bogus tickets to Rolling Stones concerts?

The fact is, however unlikely that he is to utilize it, Putin should be watched closely as he still does have access to ICBMs. Russia does have an impressive military history and while they may currently be falling on hard times, they should be respected as having the potential to strike harder than they currently are. If you ignore Russia, you do so at your own peril. Putin is former KGB which tells me, he is not to be trusted. Go ahead and dismiss Putin and Russia if you would like to eventually be made a fool...

Yes the words of elected and prominent conservatives does certainly define conservatism.

The rest of your post is dedicated to promoting putin and Russia.

The only fools on Russia and Putin have been conservatives and their irrational fear/admiration for Putin and Russian military might.

The facts on the ground are Russia is a poor nation that is getting poorer, Putin is increasingly unpopular, he destroyed his nation's economy all on a war they haven't won.

And conservatives lying that Putin was going to run roughshod over President Obama and invade Poland, Estonia, the Baltic states, abd recreate the USSR wrong again.

Oh, I see. It's time for "Regime Change" in Russia. Gotta love the Neocons. Always on the verge to provoke nuclear war.

A while back Jon Stewart did a montage of clips of Fox News and politicians in need of face time, gushing over Putin.

Don't forget that Stalin was a little clownish also.

What we have to understand is that there is no way Russia can pay their debts. They need $125 a barrel of oil to pay their debts and break even. They aren't even getting $50 a barrel now and it will never even go back up to $100 a barrel according to a Saudi minister. That means Russia is going to go deeper and deeper into debt until_____. Also understand that a country is not dangerous when it is doing good for obvious reasons. Its when a country is down and out that it is dangerous.

So? There are people that gush over Obama. There are people that gush over Bush. What does it matter. Because a few people fawn over Putin doesn't make it a position of a group of people. It makes it the position of those doing the fawning..
