When blacks stop blaming those who live today for what happwned before they were born and want to be part of society instead of a living guilt trip, maybe they will make their lives better. Stop already with the blacks that are poor, lots of whites, hispanics, asians and those of other races are poor too.

Why do the Hispanics do better than the blacks? When was the last time a black was willing to work as hard as Hispanics in this country. Damn, many aren't even citizens but they work instead of waiting for the next media event.

Some of you people want to be victims SO BADLY. How about you trade spots with a black man for a week and come back and tell me how much fun you had?

You said it yourself there are Tons of good , hard-working black people in this country and I agree with that and we see it every single day. If they can do it, so can the "others" STOP MAKING EXCUSES!

I don't care nor want your sympathy or any other white persons'. That is where you missed me. Like I've told the other race baiters on this forum, do not ever direct your prejudices at me or apply them to someone you do not know. An assumption makes you and I both look little.

Also like I have said before, if you do not understand basic psychology and how history correlates with modern day, then you shouldn't be having this conversation. Nobody is making excuses, it is what it is.

"Them"? There is no them. There are hundreds of non-blacks who have joined this movement. Sorry to break apart your narrative. It is not past generations baggage when the discrepancies and inequality still exists today. Inequality in education, health care, and housing still exists today.

You need to stop basing your opinion on nothing more but your prejudice.

Year2525. Okay you clearly have some type of grudge against black people. Me and you are done with this conversation because you have some deep rooted issues with blacks that will not be resolved through the internet. I would not be surprised if you frequented kkk websites or were a member in fact if you are white. I feel sorry that this hatred consumes you and probably directs part of your life.

If you are angry about events that occurred 50 years ago, 1/2 century, then you have some serious issues. Drop the false outrage and go get some help.

Depends. I think it's fairly reasonable for a 70-year-old to be angry about Jim Crow laws. They really did affect them and could have changed the outcome of their life. For a 20-year-old... it's water under the bridge at this point.

Of course, as they say, those that cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it. Don't forget it, but blaming it for your own failures in life is ridiculous. Japanese faced way worse treatment during WW II. Many are still angry about it, few use it to excuse their own failures. I know some Japanese families in the area who lost their farms. There's generation resentment there, yes. That hasn't stopped them from being successful members of society.

I agree. They would have a reason, but it's my guess that most 70 year olds don't care. Hopefully by then they have learned to enjoy life and stop trying to control things they can't control. Especially things that happened in the past.

And there we have it, right to a hatred filled personal attack. You're feeling sorry for the wrong person. The man in the mirror needs your sorrow.

Have you watched the news? There was widespread condemnation.
(There were also more arrests in those 4 hours in Columbus than any night in Ferguson. 70 that night, 42 on August 19th, the peak in Ferguson.)

Black Lives has gotten what it wanted in that respect. Police need to step it up in this country. The majority of the country agrees as well but they're worried about public perception and the vocal minority. Arson, looting, blocking freeways and mass transit, and so on shouldn't be tolerated. You're right. The police response to Ferguson and Black Lives Matter has been very inadequate. Response to the SF Giants riots after winning the wold series was also anemic.

The good news about Superbowl or World Series riots is they're pretty limited in occurrence.
