Despite the onslaught of criticism from the political right, the mayor of New York still has the general support of the public. Perhaps the police unions should stop making this political and do their jobs responsibility.

Disapproval of police insubordination is NOT the same thing as general support.

All indications are that you are in the majority.
I'm sure he wouldn't want to have to run for office again right now.

Who did Quinnipiac University poll, and who the hell is Quinnipiac University? You're probably not even a New Yorker. Any poll can be developed and conducted to swing the results in favor of your agenda.

With enough time in office, New Yorkers will learn that deBlasio has nothing to offer, beside slogans and cliches. It is totally unrelated to the police. He opposes this or that, but when time comes to perform and actually do something - he has nothing to offer. He spoke about education and improved schooling - but how do you do that?
Give him a few more months and the truth will be revealed.

I would think so, considering they just put him into office a few months ago. And by a healthy margin.

The police are free to do what they think in their own safety. With the lynch mobs in NY I don't blame them The grand jury is part of the rule of law.
