On Easter we have bunnies, on Labor Day we have sales, on Independence Day we have barbecues and fireworks. We need something for MLK Day. Personally, I think we need a day that features lasagna. We could also start a tradition of giving a gift to someone of a different background, or belief system. Or we could just have more sales... But I say no to that. So what should we do for the Doctor's day?
on MLK day, most of us go to Church and/school, watch a program on the Civil Rights movement and then participate in a symbolic march

Columbus Day would be perfect for that. He was Italian.

Fly the flag. Like I'm doing today. It's an American thing.

I haven't flown the flag for the past six years. That's an American thing too.

False equivalency.

Reagan was against the idea of giving king a holiday, Bill Clinton was NOT against welfare reform, he actually campaigned on it in 1992. He was however against the initial version of the bill for multiple reasons including the exclusion of his healthcare reform bill.

Im not sure if you were lying here just to try to attack Democrats or if you were just ignorant of history, either way, you need to do more research before trying to take things at face value.

Put the crack pipe down and step away from the table.

It's pretty much liberals who are out there protesting and destroying things when others don't agree with them.

I got the day off, so I am:
  • doing laundry
  • doing some painting
  • cleaning house
  • going grocery shopping later

Those are all good things to do. I am satisfied.
