News, Woman orders pit bulls to attack deputy (drug, death, crimes)

Brooksville, Florida -- A Hernando County woman is charged with assault and battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, after investigators say she tried to get two pit bulls to attack a deputy.

Hernando deputies were called to a gas station on Cortez Road Tuesday night after getting a report of a woman acting strangely, and possibly intoxicated. An arriving deputy saw the woman, later identified as 25-year-old Jennifer Mary Webber, standing in the gas station parking lot. Webber fled on foot and ran into a nearby wooded area.

Thankfully intelligent actions by this deputy saved the lives that really mattered...

Fortunately, the dogs did not attack, and the deputy rolled up the patrol car's window so the animals could not hear their owner.

Pitbulls are a (white/ghetto) trash person's handgun. Having pitbulls is showing the rest of the trailer park or 'hood how tough and badass they are.

In Africa, instead of pitbulls, the tough guys show off having hyenas and baboons as pets.

My female black lab is more aggressive than the male pitbull I had before her.
She is very protective of us, the house and the yard. My pitbull would have helped a burglar, carry stuff out.

I disagree here.....before badass people claimed the Pit Bull, the dog was a family dog. Knowing about dogs and their history, will help those who stereo-type dogs to the crimes of humans. I have owned pit bulls myself and I am far from trailer park trash!

This woman should be charged and should not own ANY dog, not even a dachshund.
