Brooksville, Florida -- A Hernando County woman is charged with assault and battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, after investigators say she tried to get two pit bulls to attack a deputy.
Hernando deputies were called to a gas station on Cortez Road Tuesday night after getting a report of a woman acting strangely, and possibly intoxicated. My female black lab is more aggressive than the male pitbull I had before her.
She is very protective of us, the house and the yard. My pitbull would have helped a burglar, carry stuff out.
I disagree here.....before badass people claimed the Pit Bull, the dog was a family dog. Knowing about dogs and their history, will help those who stereo-type dogs to the crimes of humans. I have owned pit bulls myself and I am far from trailer park trash!
This woman should be charged and should not own ANY dog, not even a dachshund.
