Outside of NOVA, there is no chance I'd live in them, as they offer little culturally.

.....looks dull cold boring and lacks diversity IMO.
As someone that lives in one of those states, I'll agree that it's a bit cold for a few months. But boring? Far from it. There is always something to do. Hiking, skying, snowmobiling, atving, dirt biking, camping, fishing, hunting, backpacking, you name it. We have it all. It's far from like you're stuck in some tiny apartment in some craphole city someplace.

As far as diversity, you'd be amazed. We have mountains, timber, tons of lakes and rivers, rolling farmland and desert. Pretty much all the landscape of the country in one state (with the exception of swampland I guess).

Couldn't ask for any more...other than maybe a couple more months of warm weather.

I'd love to hear you try to explain that. All of those states offer tons of "culture", it's just not the screwed up flavor of culture you like.

You made accusations without any merit, and you stated them as if it was fact. If you are going to make such statements, back them up. If not, then they are just boldface lies. What I do not like is people making accusations.

Nonsense, TheMoreYouKnow. I've been in those BORING states. Watching stills operate in Ky is NOT culture.

I'll take MOMA and Broadway instead!

I have relatives in Minnesota. My aunt moved to Minnesota from Louisiana, and has stayed up there ever since. She's embedded there. Her church is there, her whole life is there. She's made her home there since the 1970s. But even in Minnesota and Kentucky, one can kind some rough areas.

If you really believe those states are boring (and I don't live and never have lived in any of them BTW) then you've got some issues. Most fat, city dwelling fools who love Broadway are simply incapable of hiking or experiencing nature. I'll take clean air, fresh snow and clean mountain water over Broadway any day.

Learning about the history of your state, community, family and area is culture. Learning how to treat other people, watching nature and learning how to live a good life in conjunction with nature is culture.

Watching people prance around on stage may also be culture, I just rather things that stimulate the mind a little more.

I really DGAFF what you like. If what I said upsets you that much maybe you should have a drink and calm down.
