You're pretty arrogant for someone supporting the party that had a supermajority in Congress and then lost seats in 3 consecutive elections, lost the majority of state governorships, and lost the majority of state legislatures. Yes, you won the Presidency. But that's all you won. You lost everything else.
They won seats in both the house and Senate in 2012 genius .
Good for them, I loathe social conservatives. Too much like libs in wishing to use the state as their agent of social engineering.
To be socially conservative as an individuals choice, is OK as long as it is not mandated for everyone.
That is the stuff taking freedoms and liberties are made of.
You see it in the laws that keep us safe from ourselves.
And the sooner the dems denounce ACORN, labor unions, AGW, and George Soros, the sooner we can start working on solving real problems.
Why the hell would we denounce ACORN? They did good by getting people to register to vote and participate in the democratic process. Sadly though some ******* puts out a doctored video and the damned Democrats don't even support them
Why the hell would we denounce labor unions? They're for the working people
What has George Soros done that we should denounce him? Has he praised Putin like con hero Sarah Palin has, or praised ISIS like con hero Ben Carson did recently?

What super majority. A super majority is one large enough to pass a Constitutional Amendment or override a Presidential veto and that is 67 votes in the Senate or 291 votes in the House or a 2/3 voting majority in both the House and Senate with no votes from the opposing parties. Far smaller majorities are needed to sustain a Presidential veto (I,e, 34 in the Senate and 145 in the House) and to block cloture (bring a bill up for a vote or off the table ) i.e 41. We have never had a supermajority in the Congress since the New Deal days in the 1930s but we've always had an obstructing minority .

Won't happen until the GOP wakes up to reality and learns MORE defense spending is MORE government spending and a BIGGER military is BIGGER government.
Ted Cruz said at a Tea Party Convention that the GOP essentially needs to lighten up a bit if they want to attract a wider voting base. He seemed to emphasize that many GOP politicians come off as stern and bitter, akin to communism almost.
He described Ron Paul and Reagan as the last Republicans who were able to inspire youth.
Overall, I agree with Cruz on his remarks. Though the GOP can win midterms, the young voters always come out in the presidential election in masses. This is where the GOP has gotten killed in 2008 and 2012.
Honestly, I could see the GOP becoming a more well rounded party if they are able to work on building a larger and more diverse base. It could lead to major improvements.
The GOP voters hate too many other Americans for the GOP to really try to open up.
conservative voters are voting against other groups of Americans which they both fear and hate.
So any effort by the GOP to extend itself to those voters will be meet with great hostility from the base of the GOP.
I don't support any party. And I'm not trying to be arrogant. ACORN? Please. Calling out nonsense is not arrogant.
So explain to us all why ACORN is above reproach.
