Its so hard to talk to you sometimes, you cling to the tax rate argument like a life preserver. The truth is if you look at tax rates alone yes the richest pay the most taxes. But its a right wing slight of hand trick. Because its never been about tax rates but tax loopholes and tax breaks after that that takes 21.67% tax rate and effectively makes it 2%. Further the rub is that most 1%ers and above have no income because there wealth is earned thru Investments and dividends on those investments. Which is different tax code all together.
So the rich only pay 2% and the government runs on pixie dust because no one is paying taxes then.
Thank you! I've asked a few times and no one will answer that.
Of course not, the OP or "Usual Suspect" never provides a link to anything. The title itself is composed strictly to inflame the uninformed and spread the lie that half the nation are deadbeats and lazy frauds with absolutely no credible information to back it up.
I could just as easily started a thread saying that every right wing conservative who posts in internet forums lurks in Airport restrooms looking for sex and it would be just as relevant and just as false.
But notice how every right wing conservative ran with it. They are not interested in truth, facts or honesty. They are only interested in disseminating hate, lies and misinformation to further their own agenda of dividing the nation.
So the rich only pay 2% and the government runs on pixie dust because no one is paying taxes then.
Lol the middle class has been paying the bill, they are now part of the bottom 50%. See no matter what argument you make about the poor trying to redistribute wealth from the rich, the truth is the wealth/income gap says it all and is the truth. There has already been a wealth redistribution from the citizens of this country to the uber rich elite.

Point of Fact
Now that the wealth has been effectively redistributed from the middle class to the very rich, where is this famous rising tide of "Trickle down" that was supposed to lift all boats and provide the engine of prosperity for all Americans?

So your argent is the rich provide a product/service that people want. So people give them money for said product/service and that increases the wealth of the rich and that is not fair and needs to stop.
Businesses who wouldn't hire cheap illegals will hire cheap illegals with Obama-issued work permits. Duh.
But that's what businesses and the free market want, cheap labor. Are you turning your back on your own rigid ideology? And what are the stipulations on the work permits, are employers made to pay minimum wage or is it a permit like agricultural workers receive because I don't know the details.

They don't, much of the uber rich don't produce much of anything, which is why they don't derive much wealth from income. Supply side economics don't work in a global world and we need to focus on demand (aka the lower and middle class).
