Obama owes Mitt Romney an apology. Obama did precisely what Romney had accused him of. From “free” community college and more sick leave to faster Internet and second-earner tax credits, the president offered a laundry list of federal goodies for the middle class.

Obama is pulling the same tactic that got him elected, promised more free stuff.. Why? To help Democrats in 2016

"there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what."

Will the 47% vote democrat again in hopes of getting more free stuff.

We saw how well the 47% of the American people are slackers worked for Romney. I hope the Republicans make that their new campaign mantra! 47% of the populace are takers! Are you ready for Democratic landslide II?

Obama promised more free stuff just like he did to get elected. It worked, of course he is going to use the same tactic.

I agree.

Beating Romney like that is akin to child abuse.

Obama should be ashamed of himself.

That 47% Mitt insulted included seniors on SS and medicare, his voters, and some of the military. I think that statement was not only wrong it was insensitive and a stupid thing for a presidential candidate to say, especially for a man as smart as he is.

Mitt was right on many things, including Russia/Putin, but that is water under the bridge.

Does anyone ever remember Obama EVER 'apologizing' or even admitting he was wrong about ANYTHING?

He is the "I WON!" guy. President StompyFoot, President Sir-Lectures A-Lot (according to Maureen Dowd).
Mr. Smart Power

Indeed, on everything from enhanced child-care tax credits to free community college Obama was in a Santa Claus kind of mood.

Obama mentioned paid sick leave wherever the issue was on the ballot this fall it passed when people voted on it. But Obama was careful NOT to mention that the ONLY STATE where it was on the ballot was Massachusetts.
