Ever wonder how lowly paid lawmakers leave office filthy rich? Sen. Dianne Feinstein is showing how it’s done.

The US Postal Service plans to sell 56 buildings — so it can lease space more expensively — and the real estate company of the California senator’s husband, Richard Blum, is set to pocket about $1 billion in commissions.

That's normal for the political class. There are no poor politicians in DC. And if there are, then I will be shocked.

Probably because you could do this same story on most politicians in Congress. Or do you think their spouses sit at home eating bonbons and watching soap operas?

Yawn. today a Democrat, tomorrow a Republican. This is a bit blatant, usually they just use inside information to trade stocks...which is 100% legal for them to do.

But Senator Feinstein said she had nothing to do with this decision........

I wonder which senators did make the decision and what did they get out of the deal. Most of them don't dole out a billion dollars in commissions without getting something in return.
