I was going to post the same.

It was apparently a very big deal in the late 60's and probably equally as disturbing to a certain crowd of people as the sex scenes are today.

They should offer PG versions of some of these movies. It would be easy to cut out the sex scenes, we're all adults and know what happens anyway.

Same thing I thought but replace "rauncny sex scenes" with "discusting scenes of violence".

Only in America (and Saudi Arabia) is something as good and wholesome as sex be seen as something worse than killing and murdering

Well, I didn't see it until the 70s but I wanted so bad to be Captain Kirk! Oh god, Uhura was so hot

they are not offended by anthing. their entire game is reading the audience.
gay? plenty of that.
if you are referring BM WF sex scenes?? we get nothing but.
if you want to see offended people do BF WM scenes.
but what i think is we are getting to much of everything and are getting a bit numb.

That's still gay sex though, so that doesn't count.

Anything involving Blacks in sex scenes in going to cause controversy.

What are you talking about? When you try to compare America with Saudi Arabia you have jumped the shark. I don't know if you're desensitized with all the porn this country has bestowed upon us, but doggie style humping, random boobs flying and butt wiggling on the screen isn't wholesome.

Give me a break. No one brought up violence nor said it was better or worse, besides you and the wholesome sex person I was responding to, so you're making a false argument out of absolutely thin air. The subject is about sex and how it's not needed in film, whether it be gay sex or interracial.

Please go back & read the post you responded to for it did indeed talk about violence. You ignored that.
