Pretty doable from someone with marketable skills and a clean record. But not everyone falls within this category.

Ok once again it appears we need to bring some reality to these issues.

First the SNAP Program helps feeds 40+ million american citizens. Thats about 1 in every 6 people in this country.

2nd the total SNAP Program budget is only 2% of the whole US budget. Wow i spend more on cafe mochas in a week at starbucks for example then all the taxes taken out of my check for my contribution of feeding the 40+ million american citizens on SNAP. Think about it for every 100 dollars taken out for taxes on your check etc only two is going to SNAP. Don't we have better waste and worse corruption to worry about?

Right, once unemployed it's no point even trying again. Besides, if you get money anyways whats the point.

As I understand it, this applies to able- bodied adults, not children or qualifying disabled and elderly.

Expecing able-bodied adults to actually work for a living? What kind of animal are you? Don't you get satisfaction knowing your taxes let them stay home and play video games all day?

I had a babysitter once who blamed her inability to get a regular job on her dyslexia. In my years in retail I worked with people far less "educated" , than her but somehow they managed to hold down a job and excel just fine. I think it's all in their heads. The confident levels are so low and the longer they are unemployed the worse it gets. One of my Bf's has dyslexia and she went to college and got a Masters in Political Science.
If you are an able bodied single adult you shouldn't receive any food stamps.

You mean "factism".

One murder in 2012 in Portland, Maine, in a city that is 83 percent white; in 2012 Detroit, a city that is roughly 83 percent black, there were 386 homicides. [2012 was Detroit's most violent in nearly 20 years; shootings, bloodshed have 'become the norm', Detroit Free Press, 1-4-2013]:

Sorry.

More republican compassion...hey maybe this should be the republicans candidate in 2016!
This isn't more Republican compassion, this is more RebelCreator misrepresentation. Unless, of course, you can provide the proof that these people were starving. Which you can't, because they weren't.

For most reasonable people, having to misrepresent things in order to push their agenda would eventually make them stop and think that maybe their agenda isn't all that great. If it was, it would stand on its own without requiring dishonesty to advertise it.

Maybe you'll join the ranks of reasonable people someday.
