This is from the Medal of Honor ceremony for Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham. This man died for his brothers and I give President Bush my respect for showing a little emotion for a fallen hero.
Quote:
In April 2004, Dunham was leading a patrol in an Iraqi town near the Syrian border when the patrol stopped a convoy of cars leaving the scene of an attack on a Marine convoy, according to military and media accounts of the action.
An occupant of one of the cars attacked Dunham and the two fought hand to hand. As they fought, Dunham yelled to fellow Marines, "No, no watch his hand." The attacker then dropped a grenade and Dunham hurled himself on top of it, using his helmet to try to blunt the force of the blast.
How am I attacking him? I'm saying I don't give a **** if he's crying unless it's about how terrible he is at his job. He can cry all he wants, I'm not gonna stop him.
I'm personally going to focus on contributing to society in my own way and making this country less horrible than it has been since I've been an adult. I don't really need to focus my hatred anywhere, thanks for the concern though.
I would ask why on a day that is about Obama and moving the country forward do we still have attacks on President Bush? He cried over a Marine giving his life for his brothers and this is a topic on an historic day? Come on.
