No, SA is not as important as they are made out to be. Even Venezuela has more oil reserves than SA.
It doesn't matter which currency they use. If the world decided to boycott SA's oil, it would be finished pretty soon.

but nothing has changed just one person died. besides the fact that Saudi's do not seem to care as long as they get all the free stuff; which they do. Sounds familiar?

I believe SA has one of the lowest costs to extract oil-possibly even the lowest, which is what makes them important compared to Venezuela.

The world is not going to boycott their oil.
