Here we go again. The United States expanding overseas militarily when we should be closing bases.

Last year, Australia,...now Spain.

It never ends.

Spain negotiates permanent US Marines Africa force
Spain said Friday it was starting negotiations with Washington to host a permanent US Marines intervention force for deployment on missions to Africa. The force is made up of 800 Marines plus air support, including MV-22 Osprey vertical take-off transport planes.

"intervention force for deployment on missions to Africa"??? Oh I remember now. God put our oil in Nigeria and it's our duty to protect it.

Just a shift as Europe is abandoned as EU area versus Russia. So some want the US government to own shares of businesses in Africa. That is of course illegal but not in China.
